DTS Level 2 – Skid Control

Develop advanced vehicle control skills and a deeper understanding of vehicle dynamics.

Level 2 builds on the recovery techniques developed in Level 1, moving beyond reacting to vehicle instability and into actively managing vehicle behaviour.

Using innovative Easydrift technology, you'll explore how throttle, braking, steering and weight transfer work together to influence vehicle balance and direction. Through precise, controlled exercises, you'll learn how small driver inputs can create significant changes in vehicle response.

Who is this course for?

Level 2 is designed for drivers who have developed confidence in vehicle recovery and want to further their understanding of vehicle dynamics and control.

While these skills continue to improve driver safety and awareness, this course is also suited to drivers who want to refine their precision, consistency and ability to manage a vehicle at a higher level.

Completing DTS Level 1 is recommended before attending Level 2.

What you'll learn

  • Precision vehicle control in low-traction conditions

  • Advanced skid management techniques

  • Emergency manoeuvring techniques

  • Throttle and brake modulation

  • Vehicle balance and weight transfer management

  • How driver inputs influence vehicle behaviour

  • Maintaining control through changing grip levels

DTS Level 2 develops the skill to manage vehicle behaviour, not just recover from it.
